Reflection?

If you smile at them, they’d think you’re pacute. If you don’t, sasabihin suplada ka. If you respond agad to his love, they’d think you’re easy-to-get. If it took years to decide, sobra pahard-to-get. If you go with another guy, tingin sayo, playgirl. Pag stick ka sakanya, sasabihin dead na dead. Pag tinanong siya kung saan siya galing, sasabihin overprotective. Pag pinabayaan naman, sasabihin nanloloko lang. If you lety him kiss you, he’d think you’re cheap. Pag pumalag ka naman, hahanap ng iba! Girls are just HUMANS. We too commit mistakes, and we often wonder, "BA’T ANG LABO NIO, MEN?"

That was from a text message sent to me by MaeMae, a certified feminist. Don’t you agree, girls? I mean, it is true. It doesn’t mean that they’re called the "Breadwinner", doesn’t mean they get to be all picky - not to mention supreme amongst us women.

I don’t know what else to say. The message says it all, don’t you think? I guess MaeMae opened my inner feminist, too. Women should be treated with equal rights as men.

Fitting “IN”

Saturday, June 3rd, 2006

"I’m gothic bot because I want to be ‘IN’, nor do I love black. I’m gothic because I’m strange, and I’m loving it."

Its true. I guess some people just want to be under some sort of "social group" because its what’s ‘IN’. I mean, come on, its so pathetic. Like some people I know (no offense), who used to call themselves "punk"…But when the reign of the Punks faded, which was then replaced by Hiphop, they started calling themselves "Ghettos".

All I know is, if you call yourself a Punk, Hiphop, Rocker, Prep, Goth, Skaters, etc., you should know its essence by heart. You can’t just go around proclaiming to the world, "I AM A _______". Pfft.

I’m sorry if my first blog post was so… offensive to some. But don’t worry, hindi ikaw ang pinatatamaan ko - isa lang pinapatamaan ko.

I hope you’re reading this, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.
